Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid along with chairmen of all education boards will hand over copies of the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at 10am .
Nahid will later officially announce the results at a press conference at the Secretariat at 1pm.
Students will be able to know their results after 2pm.
This year’s exams were held between Apr 3 and Jun 12.
As per the ministry’s announcement the results is being published within 60 days of the tests as it has been done every year.
Apart from the educational institutions, the results will be available on www.educationboardresults.gov.bd.
A total of 1,218,628 took exams this year from eight education boards, and madrasa and technical boards.
Results on mobile phones
Candidates can also get their result by sending SMS to 16222 with text 'HSC' followed by a space then first 3 letters of the respective education board another space then roll number followed by space again then '2016'.
For example: hsc dha 123456 2016 and send to 16222.
Madrasa students will have to text ‘Alim’ followed by a space then ‘Mad’.
For example: Alim Mad 123456 2016 and send to 16222.
Students of the technical board will have to text ‘HSC’ followed by a space the ‘Tec’.
For example: HSC Tec 123456 2016 and send to 16222.
