After the signing of a deal on strategic partnership with the Bangladeshi mobile money transferring platform at a Dhaka hotel on Thursday, he took time to speak with bdnews24.com.

Jing, also the executive chairman of the company, said they were “extremely happy” to have bKash as a partner. “We have a shared vision with bKash.”

He said equal opportunity for everyone was needed for financial inclusion, and Ant Financial was working to that end by using digital technology.
“We will support (bKash) in financial inclusion with digital technology…,” Jing said.
Ant Financial operates global e-commerce giant Alibaba Group’s payment platform Alipay.
The Ant Financial CEO also told bdnews24.com they can equip bKash with technologies like cloud computing and artificially intelligent sims (simulated models) to answer queries.
Earlier the signing ceremony, he said, “bKash can tap on the experience Alipay has built over the last decade serving 800 million users together with our strategic partners worldwide.”

“As part of Ant Financial’s global strategy, we are keen to share our technology know-how with partners like bKash, who has successfully brought financial services to the largely unbanked population in Bangladesh.”

bKash and Ant Financial were both named in Fortune Change The World 2017 list, a recognition given to companies that have had a positive social impact through activities that are part of their core business strategy.
