PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad, March 17 (bdnews24.comReuters) - India and Bangladesh observed a two-minute silence before their World Cup match on Saturday as a tribute to Bangladesh player Manjural Islam.
Players from both sides stood facing each other before the start of the Group B match at Queen's Park Oval.
Left-arm spinner Manjural died following a motorbike accident back home on Friday.
The 22-year-old bowler had been among the 30 probables for the World Cup.
