Prices of every type of gold have declined by Tk 132 per gram in the local market.

Bangladesh Jewellery Association cut prices with effect from Thursday, its Secretary Khaled Akanda said.
He told bdnews24.com: “Gold prices have been adjusted with the decline in prices in the international market. Prices of silver have been cut, too, for the same reason.”
The price of 22-carat gold has fallen to Tk 3,685 a gram from Tk 3,817, 21-carat to Tk 3,637 from Tk 3,505, and 18-carat to Tk 2,935 from Tk 3,067.
Price of old gold has been revised to Tk 1,906 a gram from Tk 2,065.
The new prices for per bhori (11.664 grams) of the precious metal stand at Tk 42,981, Tk 40,882, Tk 34,233 and Tk 22,231 respectively.
Silver price has declined by Tk 5 a gram to 85. Its price per bhori stands at Tk 991.
