The plaintiff, a lawyer named Md Gani Amin Baklai, filed the case against Rahman and photographer Majid Khan under Sections 295 and 298 of the Penal Code in October last year.

District Senior Judicial Magistrate Md Arifuzzaman gave the order on Wednesday, said Additional Public Prosecutor M Alam Khan Kamal.
He fixed Feb 18 for the next hearing in the case and ordered the submission of a progress report on the warrant ahead of the hearing.
The plaintiff has submitted in court several Prothom Alo reports containing photographs.
Section 295 (A) of the Penal Code stipulates that whoever deliberately affronts religious feelings will be fined or imprisonment for up to two years.
Section 298 says an offender can be fined or jailed for maximum one year for deliberately saying things to hurt religious feelings.
