Sales of tickets from the railway station in Dhaka will be suspended on Jun 25 as a new train service between the capital and Chittagong will be launched that day.

Advance tickets for trips on Jul 4 will be available on the Jun 26, Bangladesh Railways chief Amzad Hossain told bdnews24.com.
“Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will flag-off the Sonar Bangla Express service from the Kamalapur Railway Station on Saturday,” said the railways director general. “Ticket sale will remain closed that day; the schedule is pushed a day back.”
According to the previously announced schedule, tickets for trips on Jul 4 were supposed to be up for sales of Jun 25; now it will be available a day later.
Tickets for July 5 will be sold on Jun 27.
