Dhaka, Sept 26 (BDNEWS) - Notre Dame College topped this year's Grade Point Average (GPA)-5 list in Dhaka Board with 683 of its students scoring the highest grader in the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations.
The highest number of examinees with GPA-5 is from Dhaka Education Board. A total of 2,804 examinees out of the country total 5534 obtained the highest GPA under Dhaka Board.
Viqarunnisa Noon School ranked second in the GPA-5 by bagging 307 while Dhaka City College became third with 168 GPA-5 scorers.
Holy Cross College and Dhaka College emerged as the fourth and fifth respectively in the race of obtaining GPA-5. Holy Cross College got 150 GPA-5 while Dhaka College 135.
Ideal School and College in city Motijheel area scored sixth with 133 examinees scoring GPA-5 while Residential Model Scholl and College ranked seventh with 109 GPA-5.
Rajuk Uttara Model School and College occupied eighth position by bagging 102 GPA-5 while Bir Shreshtha Noor Mohammad Rifles Public School and College ninth with 96 GPA-5 and Dhaka Commerce College 10th taking 71 GPA-5.
Meanwhile, 23 students from Madrasa Education Board obtained GPA-5 while only two from country's lone Technical Education Board.
