The outfit's top leader Shaikh Abdur Rahman was hanged early Friday in Comilla jail while his deputy Siddiqul Islam, popularly known as Bangla Bhai, was executed in Mymensingh prison. Abdul Awal was also hanged in Mymensingh prison. On March 22, DIG prisons Major Shamsul Haider Siddiqui told bdnews24.com that the militants would be executed sometime between April 13-19.
