Dhaka, Jan 22 (bdnews24.com) - The government appointed on Thursday Kazi Abu Zafar Mohammed Hasan Siddiqui as director general and KM Harun as deputy director general for programmes of the state-run Bangladesh Television.
The two retired officials had been appointed on contractual basis, an information ministry senior official told bdnews24.com.
Siddiqui went into retirement in 2001 as the BTV's general manager, while Harun went into voluntary retirement in 2005 as programmes manager.
