A worker has been burnt to death in a fire in a lighter ship in Chittagong’s Karnaphuli River.

Two others, injured in Thursday’s accident, are in critical condition, doctors say.
OT Tasveer-3 caught fire on Thursday morning, said Karnaphuli Police Station SI Mizanur Rahman.
Locals helped the ship employees to douse the flames, he added.
Jaynal Abedin, 35, succumbed to his injuries in the evening, Chittagong Medical College and Hospital (CMCH) Registrar Swarup Chakrabarty said.
Akter Hossain, 23, and Al Amin Milan, 26, suffered severe burns, he told bdnews24.com.
