Obaidul Quader hopes the journeys during the Eid-ul-Azha holidays will be more comfortable than they were the last time because the authorities ‘have stopped’ digging the roads and new bridges have opened.

“Journeys on Dhaka-Tangail-Elenga Highway will be comfortable; sufferings will be tolerable as the prime minister has opened 23 bridges,” the road transport and bridges minister told reporters during a visit to the Mohakhali Bus Terminal in Dhaka on Friday.
The Feni Rail Overpass on Dhaka-Chattogram Highway, which had created some problems during the last Eid, has also opened, according to Quader.
Other complications have also been removed and the authorities have stopped development work, he claimed.
