Dhaka, Aug 6 (bdnews24.com) –Director general at the Press Institute of Bangladesh, AKM Shamim Chowdhury, has been charged with the duty of principal information officer, the Press Information Department announced Thursday.
According to a PID statement Chowdhury, will replace Iftekhar Hossain who retired from the post on Wednesday.
