Dhaka, April 26 (BDNEWS) – Services of nine additional judges of the High Court have been confirmed.
The government Tuesday issued a gazette notification of the President's order confirming their appointments.
The conformed judges are: Justice Afjal Hossain Ahmed, Justice AFM Ali Asgar, Justice Farid Ahmed, Justice Shamim Hasnin, Justice AFM Abdur Rahman, Justice Md Abu Tariq, Justice Jinat Ara, Justice MA Hafiz and Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed.
They will take oath in the Judges' Lounge of the Supreme Court at 10-30 Wednesday.
Chief Justice Syed JR Mudassir Husain will administer the oath.
The nine judges were appointed as additional judges of the High Court division for two years on April 27, 2003.
