Dhaka, March 17 (BDNEWS) – The government Thursday appointed establishment secretary Safar Raj Hossain as home secretary.

He succeeded Omar Faruk, whose third contractual appointment expired Wednesday.

Agriculture secretary ASM Abdul Halim has been made establishment secretary.
