Dhaka, Dec 27 (BDNEWS)- The usage of Bangla font in computer has been developed with the introduction of another software to correct Bangla spelling.
Zahidul Islam Rabi, a third year student of the department of Government and Politics at Jahangirnagar University, introduced new software in this regard titled 'Shabdo Lekho'.
It would not only correct Bangla spelling, but is also helpful in arranging the words in alphabetical order.
Zahidul Islam Rabi told BDNEWS that some meaningless mistakes are prevailing in Bangla language, which could be corrected during computer typing.
"My spell checker would examine spelling of the document and suggest possible correct options from the dictionary", he added.
The new software developer said his spell checker is enriched with 34,650 verbs, 59,000 other words and 2,000 spellings of different names.
The computer could examine crores of words using these words of vocabulary.
Referring to the marketing of the new software, Zahidul Islam Rabi said consultations in this regard are going on with several organizations. He hoped that it would be available in the market soon.
