Dhaka, July 22 (bdnews24.com)–Dr Neem Chandra Bhowmik has been appointed the new Bangladesh ambassador to Nepal, an establishment ministry order said on Wednesday,
According to the order, he was appointed on contract for three years. His appointment will be effective from the day he joins office.
However, he will have to be resign his posts from all organisations and institutions.
Bhowmik is a professor at the Department of Applied Physics, Electronics and Communication Engineering at Dhaka University and a director of the Renewable Energy Research Centre.
He is also the president of Bangladesh Muktijodha Foundation, president of Bangladesh Puja Udjapan Parishad and general secretary of Bangladesh Hindu Bouddha Christian Oikya Parishad.
