Dhaka, June 1 (bdnews24.com) – The first Bangladeshi to conquer Mount Everest, Musa Ibrahim, has returned.
The special plane flying him home touched down at around 4.30pm in Dhaka international airport.
Secretary of the foreign affairs ministry, Mijarul Quayes, greeted Musa with flowers on behalf of the prime minister.
People crowded the terminal to catch a glimpse of the mountaineer and welcome him back home.
Musa was accompanied by his parents, wife and son.
Musa Ibrahim summited Everest as the first Bangladeshi on May 23.
