Rivers are flowing above the danger mark in Kurigram, Lalmonirhat, Nilphamari, Bogra, Gaibandha, Jamalpur, Sylhet and Sunamganj following torrential rain coupled with flush floods.

The Teesta rose 24 centimetres to flow 22 centimetres above the danger level at the Dalia point, according to data released on Sunday by the Bangladesh Water Development Board’s flood forecasting and warning centre.
The Jamuna rose by six centimetres to flow two centimetres above the danger level at Bahadurabad and by 10 points in Sariakandi, where it is flowing 14 points above the danger level.
Kongsho river is flowing 57 centimetres above the danger mark at the Jariajanjail point after a 8-centimetre rise.
