Authorities have sealed four warehouses belonging to content creator Salman Muqtadir’s father-in-law, Sheikh Nur Islam, after duty-free alcohol was found stored at an “unauthorised” facility.

The warehouses at Toss Bond Private Limited in South Gulshan were sealed during a joint operation late on Thursday night, the National Board of Revenue (NBR) said in a statement.

The operation was carried out by the Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate (CIID), the Department of Narcotics Control and the Special Response Battalion (SRB).

The NBR said the warehouses were sealed “for further verification” after officials initially uncovered “serious irregularities”.
