The camp will start at 9 am and is intended to select 20 cricketers for the BCB Physically Challenged Cricket Team, ICRC said.
The Ministry of Youth and Sports (MoYS), Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and BKSP would support the camp.
" Continuing ICRC’s endeavours to promote social inclusion through sports, the camp hopes to highlight the efforts of disabled players and help them reintegrate into the mainstream society".
Around 250 cricket enthusiasts have already shown interest to participate in the Talent Hunt Camp through a mobile registration process.
People with visible physical challenges or disabilities and having a sound knowledge of the game were encouraged to attend in this camp to show their talents.
However, players with intellectual disability, visual and hearing impairments, minor amputation, fracture, wheelchair user, balance and coordination problems are discouraged to attend due to high risk of re-injuries.
The selected physically challenged cricketers will participate in a five to six weeks training camp organised throughout the year.
