The trial of four people accused of murdering Sylhet schoolboy Abu Sayeed has started.

A former policeman is among those accused of the killing.
Sylhet Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal judge Abdur Rashid framed charges against them on Tuesday, Public Prosecutor Abdul Malek said.
All four were present at the tribunal at the time of the hearing.
The deposition of witnesses will begin on Nov 19.
Malek said there were 37 prosecution witnesses who could be summoned to testify before court.
Sayeed, a Class-IV student of the Shah Mir Government Primary School in Sylhet City, was abducted on Mar 11.
The kidnappers demanded Tk 500,000 in ransom from his family.
Police recovered the child’s body from a house in Sunatala three days later.
His father Abdul Matin filed a case at the Kotwali Police Station the following day.
Police filed the chargesheet on Sep 23, naming former constable at the Airport Police Station Ebadur Rahman, Abdur Rakib, who claims to be the Sylhet district unit general secretary of the Ulama League, and police sources Ataur Rahman Geda and Mahib Hossain Masum.
Rahman, Rakib, and Geda have already given their confessional statements in court.
