Dhaka, Dec 13 (BDNEWS)- Former BNP lawmaker and noted politician Gazi Aziz Ferdous of Jhalokathi died at a Dhaka hospital following a cardiac arrest Tuesday night. He was 53.
Gazi Aziz Ferdous was elected MP twice from Jhalokathi-2 (Nalchhiti) constituency in 1991 and 1996. He had been a chairman of Jhalokathi Sadar Upazila and Jhalokathi municipality. His namaz-e-janaza will be held at Jhalokathi Eidgah Maidan after the Johr prayers Wednesday.
He left behind his wife, a son and a daughter to mourn his death. Inhabitants of Jhalokathi expressed prayed for the departed soul and sympathy to the bereaved family members
