Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has reappointed Abdus Sobhan Golap and Ferdous Ahmed Khan as her special assistants after having formed the government for the second successive term.

They both served as her aides during her last term in office.
Their contractual appointment will last until the Prime Minister’s tenure or a change in her decision, the Public Administration Ministry said in an order on Tuesday.
Awami League’s Joint General Secretary Mahbub-ul Alam Hanif was a special assistant of the Prime Minister in the previous term but he was dropped four months before the government’s tenure expired.
