Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus has set up his office at the Prime Minister’s Office in Dhaka’s Tejgaon 22 days after assuming his duties.
He went to the office for the first time on Sunday, according to the Chief Advisor’s Press Wing.
Yunus was sworn in as the head of the interim government on Aug 8, three days after the fall of the Sheikh Hasina-led government. The State Guest House Jamuna became his official residence. He had been doing his office work at the residence since being sworn in.
The chief advisor came to his office at the Prime Minister’s Office for the first time on Sunday, said his Deputy Press Secretary Apurba Jahangir. From now on, he will be at the office several days a week.
