Dhaka, July 18 (bdnews24.com)— Cadet colleges topped the list of ten best performing schools in seven boards out of eight in this year's Higher Secondary Certificate and equivalent examination results.
The best schools' list has been drawn evaluating five points, including rate of regular examinees among the registered, pass rate and the rate of students securing GPA-5.
The only exception is in Dhaka board, where Rajuk Uttara Model School and College topped the list of best schools securing 97.34 points. This year the college's pass rate is hundred percent. A total of 1,106 students have gotten GPA-5.
Pabna Cadet College topped the list of best schools in Rajshahi board bagging 90.40 points. Forty-nine examinees have secured GPA-5 out of 50 in the college.
In Comilla board, Feni Girls Cadet College stood first with 89.38 points. All but one of 48 examinees there got GPA-5.
Jhenidah Cadet College became the best school in Jessore Board scoring 89.35 points and 46 of total 49 students have secured GPA-5.
Thirty-eight examinees out of 41 bagged GPA-5 from Fouzdarhat Cadet College to take their institution to the first position in Chittagong Board. The college secured 87.77 points to get the position.
All the 45 examinees from Barisal Cadet College got GPA-5 to earn their college 90 points and became the best institution in Barisal Board.
Sylhet Cadet College left all other educational institutions behind in the Shylhet Board with all 43 of its examinees getting GPA-5. The college scored 88.60 on the ranking table.
Dinajpur Cadet College topped the list of best schools in Dinajpur Board by scoring 90 points on the ranking table. All 46 of its students secured GPA-5 in the examinations.
Tamirul Millat Kamrul Madrasah topped all madrasahs with 81.28 points. A total of 228 examinees there got GPA-5 out of 468. Three students however, failed to pass the examination.
In Vocational Education Board, Hajiganj Model College in Chandpur grabbed the first position by scoring 69.51 points. A total of 72 students got GPA-5 out of 212. Four students failed to get through the examination.
