BSTI logo must in weighing scales

Dhaka, June 12 (bdnews24.com) -- Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI) has made it mandatory to use its logo in weight scales.

A BSTI press release on Sunday said the decision was taken to ensure accuracy in quantity of goods.

The decision came from its 26th council presided over by industries minister Dilip Barua.

BSTI has been instructed to enforce the decision across the country.
