The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has formed a probe body to look in to the alleged involvement of its personnel in the abduction and murder of seven people, including a city corporation councillor and a lawyer, at Narayanganj.

RAB's Director General Mokhlesur Rahman told bdnews24.com that a four-member committee headed by the force's Additional Director Aftabuddin Ahmed has been formed to look into the abductions and killings of the seven abductees.
"The decision to form the committee came after a discussion today (Monday) following media reports. The committee has been directed to probe it and submit a report as soon as possible," the RAB chief said.
