Dhaka, Mar 28 (BDNEWS) – The Bangla Vision, country's fifth private satellite television channel, would be formally launched from March 28.
Abdul Haq, chairman of Shyamol Bangla Media Limited that owned the Bangla Vision, announced this at a press conference at Hotel Sheraton in Dhaka Tuesday.
With the slogan "The eyes over the country ", Abdul Haq said different types of mind-blowing programmes, dramas, and news will be the focal point of the channel and there will be no favour or dis-favour to any quarter.
"We are committed to maintaining total objectivity and neutrality in presenting news," he added.
Narrating the schedule of the news, Haq also said that they would start news bulletin from 8 am and would provide updated news for the viewers.
"Instead of round the clock news bulletin, we would provide graphics news and scroll so that the people would be updated," Haq added.
He also hoped that Bangla Vision would also present quality pictures through most sophisticated equipment set up already.
Among others, Bangla Vision CEO Mustafizur Rahman, Executive Editor Aminur Rashid, Ferdous Ahmed, Ashfar Uddin, Jamal uddin and Ahmed Hasan were present at the press conference.
