Dhaka, Sept 15 (bdnews24.com) – Artist Nitun Kundu died from heart diseases at Ibrahim Memorial Cardiac Centre in Dhaka Friday morning. Nitun was 71.
Nitun who died at 7.55am was undergoing treatment for heart and kidney diseases. He was put on an artificial breathing system.
Doctors said he lost consciousness Tuesday afternoon when he was at work in his factory in Shyampur. He was taken to the cardiac centre.
Nitun had a chest pain when he was returning home from Malaysia Monday.
The body will be kept at the Institute of Fine Arts at 10am and at the Central Shahid Meenar at 11am Saturday for people to pay tribute.
Nitun will be buried in his home village in Dinajpur where he was born in 1935.
