Dhaka, Jan 31 (bdnews24.com) – Actor Humayun Faridi has been admitted to Square Hospital in the city with pneumonia.
His physician have said his condition is not serious.
Dr Mirza Nazimuddin told bdnews24.com Thursday that the actor had long been suffering from complex laryngitis.
A seriously ill Faridi was admitted to the hospital Sunday morning, he added.
Asked about his condition, the doctor said, "His condition is not so serious. We have kept him in the cabin and giving antibiotic tablets and other treatments for pneumonia.
"However, he has not been put on oxygen support. He is improving gradually."
Faridi has been acting on the stage, television and cinema for about four decades.
