Three people burnt while repairing gas stove line in Chattogram

All three suffer burns to 15-25 percent of their bodies, doctors say

A fire broke out while repairing a gas stove line in Chattogram’s Chandgaon, leaving three people with burns.

The incident took place at Bahir Signal Tekpara around 11:30am on Monday, police said.

The three are Shahanur, 25, Kamrul, 20, and Badsha, 25 -- all identified with single names.

They were admitted to the burn unit of Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH).

Among those burnt, Kamrul and Badsha were fixing the gas stove.

Rafiq Uddin Ahmed, head of the CMCH burn unit, said all three victims had burns covering 15 to 25 percent of their bodies.
