The Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs issued a decree appointing the eight judges to permanent positions on Tuesday, High Court Division Additional Registrar (Administration and Justice) Sabbir Fayez told bdnews24.com.

Justices Razik-Al-Jalil, Bhishmadev Chakrabortty, Md Selim and Md Shohrowardi served as deputy attorney generals before their appointment.

Justices Khizir Ahmed and Md Iqbal Kabir were Supreme Court lawyers.
