150 police sub-inspectors promoted to rank of inspector

Police Headquarters issued three notices to the effect on Sunday before announcing the decisions on Monday

Three days before Bangladesh votes in the 13th parliamentary elections, the government has promoted over 150 police sub-inspectors to the rank of inspector.

A total of 153 police officials received the promotions in three separate notices from Police Headquarters on Sunday. The matter was then announced on Monday.

The first notice announced the promotion of 100 officials, the second 47, and the third six to the rank of sergeant inspector, or inspector.
