The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has arrested three National University administrative officials for alleged embezzlement of Tk 10 million.

The three were arrested in Dhaka's Mirpur area early on Monday morning, said ACC spokesperson Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya.
Those arrested are National University Proctor and Deputy Registrar AHM Tauhiduddin, Assistant Registrar Siddikur Rahman and Assistant Director Mofazzel Hossain.
They have been arrested in connection with a 2012 corruption case, Bhattacharya told bdnews24.com
According to the case files, the three are accused of embezzling Tk 10,463,394 by assigning selection grades after the practise was banned by the government.
The ACC assigned Assistant Director Fazlul Bari to investigate the case. The suspects were arrested as part of the investigation, Pranab said.
