The procession was organised on Wednesday to protest Pakistan's reactions on the execution of war crimes convict Abdul Quader Molla.

Bappaditya is the president of Chhatra Moitree.

Chhatra Moitree central committee vice president Abul Kalam Azad said the three Mancha activists had been admitted to the United Hospital in Gulshan.

Police stopped the marchers in front of Taher Tower at Gulshan-2 around 3pm.

The Mancha activists then started demonstrating on a road beside Gulshan-2 circle against, what they described, "Pakistan's interference” in the internal matter of Bangladesh.

To disperse the demonstrators, police started beating up the activists, leaving three of them injured, said bdnews24.com correspondent Ashik Hossain.

At one point the marchers broke the police barricade and proceeded towards the High Commission.

Around 3.30pm, the marchers faced another police barricade in front of Al-Falah Bank.

The procession managed to enter the diplomatic zone around 3.40pm amid some scuffle.

They again faced police barricade in front of Australian School.

The Mancha activists staged demonstrations there.

The Mancha announced to occupy the area until Banghladesh severs ties with Pakistan temporarily.

The Ganajagaran Mancha announced their decision to organise the procession on Tuesday after Bangladesh strongly protested Pakistan’s resolutions expressing concern over the Jamaat-e-Islami leader's execution.
