Dhaka, July 15 (BDNEWS) - Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP) retained as champions in the 3rd BKSP Cup U-16 Football tournament with a 3-2 victory over Dhaka at the BKSP ground in Savar Friday.
The final rolled into the tiebreaker after the game saw a goalless draw in the regulation time and BKSP retained their title.
In a place-deciding match, Chittagong finished third beating the visiting Chandigarh Football Association in tiebreaker after the match ended a 1-1 draw.
Rana of BKSP was adjudged the best footballer while Paban Kumar of Chandigarh FA was named the best custodian in the meet. Touhid of Chittagong team became the highest scorer netting 12 goals.
Sylhet Divisional team was adjudged the best disciplined team.
State Minister for Youth and Sports M Fazlur Rahman distributed prizes among the winners as chief guest while Youth and Sports secretary Syed Sujauddin Ahmed, BKSP director general Brigadier General M Nazib Hasan were present.
