Arsenal are aiming to add more firepower to their squad as the North London outfits have set their sights on Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze after announcing the much anticipated signing of Sporting’s Viktor Gyokeres.
The Gunners have been busy in the summer transfer window as they have already surpassed the £200 million mark but it seems they are not done yet as coach Mikel Arteta wants to sign England forward Eze, FourFourTwo reports.
According to Football Transfers, the 27-year-old has a £68 million ($91.6 million) release clause and Arsenal are negotiating the payment structure with Palace.
The runners up of the last three seasons of the Premier League are looking to pay an initial £30 million ($40.2 million) and reports claim Palance want the rest of the money within two years while Eze has already agreed personal terms with Arsenal.
Eze is set to claim the left-wing attacking position at the Emirates, potentially forming one of the Premier League’s most deadly front threes, with Bukayo Saka on the right and Gyokeres leading the line.
The winger has made 167 appearances for Palace and scored on 40 occasions and set to become Arsenal’s seventh signing of the season.
