Hasina got emotional as she greeted him.

Tajuddin's daughters Simeen Hussain Rimi and Mahjabin Ahmad Mimi were with Tanjim, better known as Sohel Taj, during the meeting at Ganabhaban on Saturday.

In a photo Mimi posted on Facebook, Hasina is seen embracing Sohel Taj.

"Our Apa. Joy Bangla. Brother & Sister Reunion!!!!", "BLOOD BROTHERS & SISTERS.....it's time to go home..... Sohel, mejho Apa & I were the mesmerized audience....... Our Apa the speaker" - those were the words she wrote on the photos.

Sohel Taj gained popularity among young Awami Leaguers through his presence in protests against the BNP-led Four-Party Alliance government.

He was made the state minister for home when Awami League came to power through the elections on Dec 29, 2008.

He later resigned and left the country.

His sister Rimi is the MP from Gazipur's Kapasia now.
