Dhaka, Sept 8 (BDNEWS) – Navila Chowdhury, a newly elected MP in the women reserved seats from Bangladesh Jatiya Party (BJP-Matin), Thursday made a mess on the first day of her appearance after taking floor.
She expressed her gratitude to the BNP chairperson and Prime minister Khaleda Zia for giving scope to come to the parliament but forgot the name of her party and its leaders, who actually gave her the room to represent in the house.
Later, she requested the state minister for home affairs to take initiative to reconstruct a road in her own locality in Madaripur during the question and answer session.
The irrelevant request created a lot of humour in the house.
Navila, being a BNP leader of Madaripur, claimed nomination from her party. As she was deprived, she managed BJP (Matin) nomination and has become an MP.
