BNP chief Tarique holds talks with Gono Forum, 6 other political parties

Members of Dhaka Reporters Unity also meet the BNP supremo

BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman has met with leaders of seven political parties, including Gono Forum.

The meetings were held separately with each delegation at his Gulshan office on Wednesday.

Among those present were Andaleeve Rahman Partha of Bangladesh Jatiya Party-BJP, Mia Moshiuzzaman of Aam Jonotar Dal, Azharul Islam of NAP Bhasani, Ismail Hossain Samrat of Jono Odhikar Party, and AKM Ashraful Haque of Nezam-e-Islam Party.

Gono Forum’s delegation was led by Subrata Chowdhury, while the Left Democratic Alliance team met Tarique under Harun Chowdhury’s leadership.

Later, members of Dhaka Reporters Unity’s executive committee also met Tarique, led by the organisation’s President Abu Saleh Akon and General Secretary Mynul Hasan Sohel.
