Amir Khosru, Mir Nasir booked in five cases

Over 900 BNP activists, including Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury and Mir Mohammad Nasir Uddin, have been accused in five cases related to clashes with police and vandalism in Chittagong during the Opposition blockade.

Of these cases, four have been filed with Kotwali, Chakbazar, Pahartali and Akbar Shah police stations.
Another case has been filed in connection with the killing of a three-wheeler driver.
Chittagong Metropolitan BNP President Amir Khosru, BNP chief Khaleda Zia’s adviser Mir Mohammad Nasir Uddin, Central Organising Secretary Golam Akbar Khandaker and Metropolitan General Secretary Shahadat Hossain have been accused of arson and vandalism.
Chakbazar Police Station OC Atique Ahmed Chowdhury said Amir Khosru, Golam Akbar, Mir Nasir, Shahadat and 670 activists of Juba Dal and Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal have been made accused in a case of vandalism and arson during Tuesday’s blockade.
Many more people, not named by the police, have also been accused in these cases, he said.
