Bangladesh has recorded four more deaths among suspected measles patients in a day, while 87 new cases of the disease have been confirmed.
The figures cover the 24 hours from 8am Tuesday, according to a Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) bulletin issued on Wednesday.
The health directorate has been publishing measles data since Mar 15.
The number of confirmed measles deaths currently stands at 99 nationwide, with no new deaths recorded in that category over the latest 24-hour period. Another 823 people classified as suspected measles patients have died, including four in the past day.
Dhaka Division has recorded the highest number of suspected measles deaths, at 363, followed by Sylhet with 136.
Rajshahi has recorded 92 such deaths, Mymensingh 74, Chattogram 63, Barishal 49, Khulna 32 and Rangpur 14.
Over the same period, 931 suspected measles patients were reported, while 87 cases were confirmed. A total of 787 patients were admitted to hospital.
Of the new admissions, 283 were in the Dhaka Division, 26 in Rajshahi, 108 in Sylhet, 144 in Chattogram, 134 in Barishal, 35 in Mymensingh, 46 in Khulna and 11 in Rangpur.
Total hospital admissions now stand at 127,076, of whom 122,805 have been discharged.
The number of suspected measles cases across the country has climbed to 145,711, while confirmed cases stand at 18,076.
