Measles-related complications have claimed eight more child lives in Bangladesh in the past 24 hours, while 94 new cases have been confirmed nationwide.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said in its regular measles bulletin on Wednesday that 92 people have died from confirmed infections since Mar 15.
Another 547 people have died after developing suspected measles symptoms, taking the combined death toll to 639.
Dhaka recorded the highest portion of these fatalities with 229 deaths, followed by Rajshahi Division which logged 86 fatalities.
The health directorate said that along with the 94 new cases, 945 people went to hospitals with symptoms, and 829 of them were admitted.
Dhaka hospitals saw the highest rush with 310 patients in a single day, while Rangpur had the lowest with 17.
Total suspected cases in the country have now reached 82,029, with 9,927 lab-confirmed infections.
