Taylor Swift has announced a deluxe edition of her record-breaking 2025 album, titled “The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore”, set for release this Friday, according to Variety.
The surprise expanded edition features four newly recorded songs -- Patient Zero, Cleveland!, Pink Clouding, and Babylon -- born out of a spontaneous celebration in Sweden with producers Max Martin and Shellback to mark the original record's historic opening week.
The additions complete a 16-track sequence, resolving weeks of fan speculation following cryptic clues in the Opalite music video and a recent sketch during the Emmy Awards broadcast.
The new tracks will arrive across digital streaming platforms at midnight on Friday, featuring cover artwork by fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, though no physical formats have yet been confirmed.
The release also puts an end, for now, to speculation that Swift would release Taylor Swift (Taylor’s Version) this autumn to mark the 20th anniversary of her debut album.
