Bollywood’s Aamir Khan set to tie the knot with girlfriend Gauri Spratt on Jul 5

After an 18-month hide-and-seek with the media, the couple make their first public appearance on Aamir’s 60th birthday

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is set to marry girlfriend Gauri Spratt in a private ceremony on Jul 5, reports NDTV.

The couple made their first public appearance on his 60th birthday last year, keeping it a secret for 18 months leading up to the event.

Before the announcement, Indian media was buzzing with rumours that the actor has been seeing someone outside the film fraternity.

Originally from Bengaluru, Gauri has lived most of her life in the southern Indian city.

Her LinkedIn profile says she completed a fashion course at the University of the Arts London in 2004, and currently runs a salon in Mumbai.

She has a 7-year-old son, the NDTV report read.

Dubbed as Mr Perfectionist, Aamir was previously married to Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao.

Aamir had married his childhood sweetheart Reena in 1986.

They are parents to Maharaj-star Junaid Khan and Ira Khan.

The couple parted ways in 2002.

Three years later, Aamir married filmmaker Kiran Rao, and divorced in 2021.

They continue to co-parent their son Azad Rao Khan.
