The National Sports Council (NSC) has disbanded the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) committee led by Aminul Islam after an investigation found irregularities in its latest election.
On Tuesday, the council also announced the formation of a new ad-hoc committee under Tamim Iqbal to oversee cricket administration.
Last month, with approval from State Minister for Youth and Sports Aminul Haque, the NSC formed a five-strong inquiry committee to examine allegations of irregularities and manipulation in the most recent BCB election.
The panel, headed by retired Supreme Court justice AKM Asaduzzaman, submitted its findings on Sunday.
Two days later, the council acted on the recommendations, dissolving the existing board.
The proposed ad-hoc committee sent to International Cricket Council (ICC) comprises:
• Tamim
• Fahim Sinha
• Rafiqul Islam Babu
• Salman Ispahani
• Tanjil Chowdhury
• Athar Ali Khan
• Minhajul Abedin Nannu
• Israfil Khosru
