Bangladesh women's cricket team will travel to Australia to play a limited-overs series in early October.
The fixture announced by Cricket Australia (CA) on Sunday is part of the ICC Women's Future Tours Programme (FTP).
Bangladesh are scheduled to play three ODIs and as many T20Is. It will be the team's first trip to Australia for a bilateral series.
The ODI games will form part of the women's ODI Championship, which determines qualification and seeding for the next women's World Cup in 2029, while the 20-overs matches will be Australia's first following the mid-year T20 World Cup in the UK, according to the CA.
All three day-night ODIs will be played in Brisbane on Oct 9, 11 and 14.
The T20 series will be held under floodlights at the North Sydney Oval stadium in Sydney on Oct 18, 20 and 22.
Bangladesh women visited Australia once during the 2020 Women’s T20 World Cup, when Salma Khatun's team lost all four matches.
The Australia women's cricket team came to Bangladesh in March 2024 on their first-ever tour.
