Dhaka, June 14 (bdnews24.com) — Prof Anwarul Azim Arif, a management teacher, has been appointed Chittagong University vice-chancellor (VC).
He replaces acting VC Prof Dr Mohammad Alauddin, an education ministry circular said on Tuesday.
Alauddin was appointed on Dec 9, 2010 after the death of Prof Dr Abu Yousuf Alam on Nov 28.
Senior information officer of the ministry Subodh Chandra Dhali told bdnews24.com that Prof Azim had been appointed for four years.
