Dhaka, Dec 13 (bdnews24.com) – The government Wednesday called a halt to Monday's transfer order of four secretaries.
The establishment ministry in a circular had swapped public works secretary SM Zafrullah and CHT affairs secretary Sheikh AK Motahar Hossain.
Land secretary Lutfor Rahman Talukder was transferred to rural development and cooperative division and ASM Matiur Rahman was made land secretary.
The transfers were cancelled after the Chief Adviser's Office Wednesday summoned additional establishment secretary M Abdul Sabur.
Sabur currently oversees routine works at the establishment ministry that has been without a secretary since the post fell vacant on December 6.
Earlier, public works adviser Dhiraj Kumar Nath expressed his dissatisfaction at the transfers saying he was not consulted before changes were made to his ministry.
Nath Tuesday said he came to know from newspapers that his secretary was transferred.
