Relatives have identified 17 of the 26 Bangladeshis who died in the US-Bangla Airlines plane crash in Nepal.

Bangladesh Ambassador in Nepal Mashfee Binte Shams confirmed the number of identified Bangladeshi victims to bdnews24.com on Saturday.
She said the bodies would be sent back to Dhaka on Tuesday.
They are passengers Rafiq Zaman, his wife Sanzida Huque and their 6-year-old son Aniruddha Zaman, Foysal Ahmed, Bilkis Ara, Akhtara Begum, Rokibul Hasan, Hasan Imam, Meenhaz Bin Nasir, child Tamarra Prionmoyee, Motiur Rahman, SM Mahmudur Rahman, Nuruz Zaman and Tahira Tanvin Shahshi Reza, and pilot Abid Sultan, co-pilot Prithula Rashid and crew member Khwaja Hossain Mohammad Shafey.
The Bangladeshi victims yet to be identified are crew member Sharmeen Akhter Nabila, and passengers Nazia Afrin Chowdhury, Begum Hurun Nahar Bilquis Banu, Alifuzzaman, Mohammad Nazrul Islam, Akhi Moni, Faruk Hossain Priok, Pias Roy and Umme Salma.
The ambassador hoped it would be possible to identify the bodies of the remaining victims.
Tests will be conducted to match DNA profiles of those whom the relatives would not be able to identify finally, she said and added the bodies would be in Nepal until the results of the tests were out.
Bangladesh already sent Nepal, a team of nine doctors including a forensic expert and two DNA lab technicians from Police Criminal Investigation Department.
The collection of DNA samples from relatives of the deceased in Bangladesh will start on Sunday, CID said earlier.
Last Monday, 49 of the 71 people on board the US-Bangla plane from Dhaka died when it crashed near the runway of Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu.
Thirty-six of the victims were from Bangladesh of which 26, including four crew members, died.
Ambassador Shams said the 17 identified by the relatives included three crew members.
Of the 10 Bangladeshi survivors of the crash, five have been brought back and admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital with burns, bone fractures, trauma and other problems.
The identification of the bodies based on information provided by the relatives and forensic examinations started on Saturday, the Bangladesh Embassy in Nepal said.
It said 10 Nepalese and 1 Chinese national were also identified from among the dead.
